I'm Kassie Doherty. I'm a born and raised Jersey girl that made my way out to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to study Musical Theatre at Point Park University. I graduated in 2014 but decided to stay in PA to pursue my career. In January 2016: I was cast in CLO's Gallery of Heroes Educational Children's tour. Unbeknownst to me I would be meeting my future husband along the way. We were brought together by two of our greatest passions in life: working with children and theatre. I'd like to say it was love at first sight for both of us but really it was just love at first sight for me. I confidently told Mark, "You're gonna fall in love with me. Trust me." Spoiler alert: he did. I am now engaged to the love of my life and a Mom to my goofy, smart, and beautiful 1 year old girl, Cagney Rose! Mark and I would not consider ourselves to be very conventional. We have always been the kind of people who go against the grain more often than not. Did we do things the way society expects? No! Did we have a baby before we were married? Yep! Are we a little unconventional? For sure! Are we happier than ever, in love with each other, and obsessed with our daughter, Cagney Rose? Absolutely! Welcome to our life!
